Days 1-3: Lima and Villa el Salvador

This gigantic dune also was Villa el Salvador's cemetery. Most people don't have enough money to be buried with a headstone or tomb, but a few do. This particular area was the resting place of several of the city's early civil-rights activists. Tony told us that one of these graves (the white one to the left of the cross) had repeatedly been bombed over the years.
