This, to me, might be the most mindboggling Incan work I saw during the whole trip. These gigantic slabs were somehow quarried and carried from a neighboring mountain, and then up the hill on which the fortress stood. And then, the Incans carved these stones in such a way that they fit perfectly next to each other. Midori, who has been to Egypt, said that this stuff trumps the pyramids.
